The tour begins with an introduction at the meeting point, where the guide sets the Alcázar in context within the monumental area and explains why this complex has been key to Seville's history since medieval times.

The first stop is the Hall of Justice and the Patio del Yeso, one of the spaces that still shows traces of the Almohad-era Alcázar. Here the courtyard is pointed out as the only surviving one of Islamic origin, along with decorative elements such as the sebka panels, also found on the Giralda.

From there you move to the Patio de la Montería, the site's main courtyard, and continue to the Casa de la Contratación, created in 1503 to regulate trade with the Americas. Here you'll visit the Chapel of the Navigators, with its reference to the first religious painting depicting the discovery, showing Columbus, the Pinzón brothers and the Catholic Monarchs.

The heart of the visit is the Palace of Pedro I and the Patio de las Doncellas, where the guide explains the Mudéjar architecture and its elements linked to light, water and vegetation, as well as the technique of tiled azulejos. Next comes the Royal Bedchamber, with its division between the summer and winter rooms and the episode of the murder of Don Fadrique during Pedro I's reign.

The route continues through the Patio de las Muñecas, a more private space with its hidden little faces, and culminates at the Ambassadors' Hall, with its golden dome and its role as the throne room. The visit ends in the Alcázar Gardens, passing the Mercury Pond and the Grotesque Gallery, with a mention of the Baths of María de Padilla and their stairs-only, non-accessible entrance.

Up to 72 hours before the visit you get an instant full refund. Between 72 and 24 hours before we refund 50% of the amount. With less than 24 hours' notice or a no-show, there's no refund because the tickets are already issued under named holders by the Patronato.
If you need to change the date or time, no problem: message us on WhatsApp up to 24h before and we'll rebook you subject to availability at no extra cost.
In special situations such as heavy rain or weather alerts, the tour continues because the Alcázar is mostly indoors, but if you prefer we can change your date. If the monument closes unexpectedly, we offer a full refund or a date change, your choice. If you're running late due to documented transport delays, we'll wait up to 15 minutes or rebook you onto the next group.
The Alcázar's governing body (Patronato) requires full names to issue the tickets 48h before. After this deadline we can't issue refunds, but we can still change the attendee's name if you let us know before the tour.
